AUDIT & ASSURANCE PROFESSIONALS


EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS


For accounting professionals with 0-4 years of experience. Job responsibilities may vary based on experience. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients in various industries
  • Be responsible for applying basic areas of GAAP as necessary and documenting, validating, testing, and assessing various areas of the audit engagement
  • Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior associates, managers, and partners
  • Prepare corporate, individual, partnership and other various returns for a diverse group of clients
  • Manage client relationships and satisfaction through open communication and timeliness


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
  • 150 Credit Hours (As required for the CPA Exam) or demonstrated pursuit of 150 credit hours
  • Strong problem-solving, logic and reasoning capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to remain organized and prioritize under time-sensitive and challenging conditions
  • Strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

For accounting professionals with 5+ years of experience. Job responsibilities may vary based on experience. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in client relations 
  • Oversee fieldwork for audit engagements
  • Schedule and monitor the progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates
  • Monitor and assess engagement planning, and educate and evaluate associates to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Review all work prior to submitting work for Partner review
  • Strategically negotiate fees and ensure accurate billing to clients
  • Act as a liaison between Partners, clients and personnel
  • Form an understanding of the client’s organization, procedures, and internal policies
  • Lead the client relationship and work product
  • Help clients achieve their goals through advisory and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Develop staff by mentoring, training, evaluating, and supporting associates.
  • Strengthen the team atmosphere and cultivate a positive culture.
  • Take part in practice development activities to gain new business and develop capabilities to offer a range of services.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required; MST, MSA or other industry-related graduate degree is a plus
  • CPA or CPA track
  • Strong problem-solving, logic, and reasoning capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to remain organized and prioritize under time-sensitive and challenging conditions
  • High proficiency in technology and applicable software programs
  • Detail-oriented, fast learner
  • Collaborative team player
  • Management experience is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
