Kristi Reale, CPA, CVA Named to New England Society of Certified Public Accountants Board of Directors

MBK is proud to congratulate our very own Kristi A. Reale, CPA, CVA, Partner for recently being appointed to the New England Society of Certified Public Accountants (NECPAs) board of directors. Formed on July 1 through the merger of five state societies – Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. NECPAs unites accounting professionals across New England and supports the profession with a broad range of regional expertise. 


Kristi, a leader in the public accounting industry, brings over 30 years of experience including over two decades with MBK. Her expertise expands across taxation, audit and assurance, technology/IT, and business valuations. 


Since beginning her accounting career in 1993 and joining MBK in 2001, Kristi has demonstrated a strong commitment to exceptional client service. Known for her hands-on approach, she works closely with clients to understand their businesses and provides strategic guidance that supports their goals. Her Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation reflects a specialized focus on business valuations, a discipline that requires both technical rigor and sound professional judgment. Aside from her extensive experience, Kristi is a mentor to many professionals across the industry. She guides several youthful careers through mentorship; she demonstrates leadership, develops talent, and encourages professional growth. Kristi's overall genuine personality sheds light to anyone around her. Hence, being named MBK's "Fun Committee" leader, where she brings a special touch of joy to the firm with fun activities such as themed corporate events, curated treat days during tax season, and fun games to keep the office camaraderie going. 


Reale states, "I am honored to join the New England Society of Certified Public Accountants and support its vital work within our profession. The organization’s efforts extend far beyond expectations, helping to strengthen the accounting industry while supporting future generations of accounting professionals." 


She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Assumption University. Additionally, she serves as a member of CPAmerica and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
